KCMG becomes first Chinese team to be granted entry in Le Mans 24 Hours

Leading Hong Kong-based motorsport team, KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) makes history today as it announces its entry in one of the world’s most prestigious races, the Le Mans 24 Hours. KCMG will be marked as the first ever Chinese team to compete in what is hailed to be the greatest endurance race in the world of motorsport. Organized by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), the 81st edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours will be held at the Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans, France on June 22-23, 2013. Official testing starts on June 09 and will be subsequently followed by three qualifying sessions which shall take place two days before the event. ACO has granted 56 invitations and have divided the entries into four categories. KCMG will run a recently acquired LM P2 Morgan chassis from OAK Racing’s constructor department, Onroak Automotive.
