    Over 50 journalists were present as British Ambassador Sebastian Wood CMG unveiled the Morgans at Beijing’s Luxury Expo, launching the brand in China. The result was coverage of the cars in both Chinese and global media, from the British Daily Mail to the Irish Times, USA Today, South African Times Live and the Malaysian Insider. Morgan Roadster in Westin Chaoyang Hotel

Morgan’s Roadster formed the centrepiece of Chaoyang Westin Hotel’s lobby over the Fathers’ day weekend. Dads and their families were welcomed to the hotel for a champagne brunch before being given the chance to be photographed sitting in the Morgan. The car drew a great deal of – “I was delighted to see peoples’ reaction and excitement towards this British classic,” said Westin Chaoyang manager, Nick Porter.  The Roadster is now in Guangzhou where Morgan will make its Guangdong debut at the Guangzhou luxury import show later this month.  

Morgan cars sign lease on 320m2 showroom in one of the Ten Great Buildings in China

Morgan cars in Beijing has a new 320m2 home in the heart of the city, within the Gongti Stadium complex with automotive neighbours Lotus Nyo, Sports Car Club of China and Bentley. The Workers Stadium (simplified Chinese: 工人体育场; traditional Chinese: 工人體育場; pinyin: Gōngrén Tǐyùcháng), often called Gongti or Gong Ti, is a multi-purpose stadium in the Chaoyang District of north-eastern Beijing, China. It is mostly used for football (soccer) matches.[1] The stadium was built in 1959 and was last renovated in 2004 (the concrete structure was strengthened, a new rotating display screen and energy-saving devices were installed). It has a capacity of 66,161 and covers a land area of 350,000 square meters. It is one of the Ten Great Buildings constructed in 1959 for the 10th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China.
